Jessica Bafaro connected via LinkedIn back in Q3 2024. She was already doing an amazing job consistently posting on social and delivery tremendous value to her audience – but her website didn’t match her social media marketing efforts.
Jessica had a passion for serving small businesses, but her website wasn’t allowing her to grow past the point of a few clients, and the longest she could retain a client was for only 2 years.
It wasn’t because Jessica wasn’t experienced – actually, it was quite the opposite. Jessica has a way of breaking all things financials down to a very easy-to-understand level for any small business owner, and she knows what to do.
It was just her “main hub” or website was not aligned with how she wanted to appear online. Jessica had no good way of:
- Curating Testimonials and social proof
- Accepting consistent inquiries
- Automating systems for optimal client experience
After doing some deep discovery work with Jessica, I was able to articulate and delivery what Jessica always had inside her mind, but was never able to accomplish digitally.
I first built a brand new logo that represented not only what Jessica does, but represents Jessica as a person, an identity, and an amazing small business partner.
Next I delivered brand guidelines – this was the pivotal moment that Jessica realized we were truly making a difference; when she could see the new logo, color scheme, font styles, and example use cases all come together, she couldn’t contain herself.
I mean literally – she fought back hard. This is normal. People I work with expect the process to be more difficult than it is, but because I have the process fine-tuned at this point, what was delivered as the brand guidelines was a natural progression of exactly what Jessica was looking for.
Then her and I moved into the new web design, capturing the new style and vibe of her brand, while allowing Jessica to incorporate the awesome work she was already doing on social into her new website, to create cohesive hub for her current and new clients.
